Stand Up Comedy Course with Erik Escobar

We are excited to announce our very first Stand Up Comedy class with Erik Escobar! This class is limited in size to maximize direct, personalized, constructive notes for students. Learn the fundamentals of stand-up comedy and learn to shape up your jokes and material for an audience. The course will last 3 weeks and include a class show.

Erik Escobar is a Mexipino comedian who has performed and headlined internationally at clubs, colleges, cruises, and theatres independently, with the Almost Asian Comedy Tour, and opening for acts such as Rex Navarrete and Jerry Seinfeld. You can catch him on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Buzzfeed, Game Show Network, his TedTalk, alongside Jay Leno on You Bet Your Life and recently as Musical Bars on I Can See Your Voice on FOX! He holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Comedy Theory and Studies from Goddard College and currently resides in Anaheim, CA. He loves his wife, theme parks, spam musubi, karaoke, and professional wrestling in that order.

Class: Sunday November 19th – Sunday December 3rd

Time: 7-9pm * if enrollment is fewer than 9 students, class may end early some days

Class Show: Monday December 4th, 8pm
